2. Switch the shop between dollars, Rands or both, with VAT shown
3. Mark an order shipped and put a category on sale from the admin dashboard

Architecture

• One source of truth for money: all amounts are integer cents, and a single pricing function is shared by the checkout preview and the server, so the two cannot disagree.
• Orders are atomic: the order, its items, stock decrements and discount-code use run in one database batch that rolls back on any failed check.
• Owner settings are cached with tags and refreshed instantly on save, so the shop stays fast and edits appear immediately.
• Emails never block an order: each one is stored in an outbox, then delivered over SMTP, with failures recorded and retryable.
• Security and privacy: signed httpOnly admin cookie checked in the proxy and every action, unguessable order links, rate-limited lookups and no card data handled.
